The September release gives me a feeling this album is going to be Soulfulll and Jazzy. Autumn is the best Season to launch that kind of sound.
If it had the "party" "commercial" Jamiroquai sound of the last 2 albums it would be released this summer.

 I think it should be noted, given the first mailing list e-mail from the Official Site that has been going around, it can now be confirmed that Jamiroquai is fully 'signed, sealed & delivered' into a new recording contract, as knowingly confirmed by bandmembers . According to the e-mail, Jami appears to be signed to the Mercury Records Imprint, which is a subsidiary of Universal Music Group, as duely noted by David Rowe over at Funkin Site. So I will, like many of you, wait to see if Universal sticks to promoting Jami already on their Official Site OR goes right ahead and builds a NEW Jamiroquai microsite on their corporate label site. ROLL ON NEW SUMMER JAMIROQUAI SINGLE PROMOTIONS !

Yeah, I could imagine some funny scenarios for Friday:
- JK is going to announce that he's retiring and going to return to Buckinghamshire and start his own Alsatian Farm.
- JK will join 'Britain's Got Talent' as a new judge but kicked off the show for having slept with EVERY female contestant.
- JK's old hats are holding him hostage and are issuing demands.
I hope it's an OFFICIAL update about BOTH things, new album title/release date and first single title and release date! More importantly can dissipate at least 50% of our rampant fan speculation and give room for more deeper discussions till 'when' becomes 'now'. In any case, good to see the lead out of their trousers and get SOMETHING out there to excite the Jamily! Cheers!

I know we've waited too long for the album, that's why we are pessimistic. But now, no doubt it will be the album, I think it's the good time and the good timing
