JMQ Songs that you like to play...
If you play an instrument, which are those JMQ songs that you really like to play?

As a bass player, I really enjoy playing these songs: Hooked Up, Emergency On Planet Earth, Scam, Falling, Feels So Good, You Give Me Something & Love Foolosophy.

And u?

well, as a guitar player (I haven't been playing for too long, though), I really like playing songs like Love Foolosophy, You Are My Love, Runaway, All Good In The Hood, or Hurtin' (maybe because those are not very difficult to play Razz) . Also acoustic versions of Corner of the earth, Picture of my life, Love Fool or If I like it.

As a drummer I'd say, first of all, all tracks without vocals..
Furthermore tracks like Just Another Story, Hooked Up, If I Like It I Do It, You Are My Love, Stop Dont Panic and probably many more

Well, actually it is! At least on the bass...This tune is a classic example of a funky//jazz jam. I always thought that Toby, Stu and Nick started to play it as a jam and then Jay added the lyrics.

After rediscovering JMQ -I heard their first 2 albums together, and this tune stands out as just about the best song!
One funky song! The instruments and drums are totally awesome!

After being the owner of a bass for 2 weeks now, I tried to play Black Capricorn Day.

Well, it still gives me knots in my fingers, so I have to

PRACTICE, PRACTICE, PRACTICE!!! Very Happy

Oh, that song has such a beautiful flute lines! It'd be so cool If you can upload a video playing it!

And Ophone... I think that "Black Capicorn Day" it's a bit hard for a beginner, especially because of the chorus. If you want to start with a song from Jamiroquai, I'd recommend you "You Give Me Something" (it's a bit fast, not so much but a bit, but at least it's almost the same bass line during the whole song) or maybe "Everyday" (that has a slow bass line and it's easier to play)
